CO2 Welding Heads
CO2 Laser Welding

Welding heads with integrated copper mirrors are very robust and have become very well established, over the years, in high power CO2 welding applications. They are strong workers, and thanks to their direct water-cooled optics they can handle almost limitless multi KW laser powers.

The clear aperture of these heads is typically between 40 mm and 80 mm.

LT Ultra constructs welding systems (and other industrial laser machines) from modular components, which include an efficient and proved shielding gas supply along with, of course, a cross-jet to protect the optics.

These simple welding heads are generally used for one-dimensional welding, such as tailored blanks and other mass production parts.
